Can you believe it? I’ve written and posted 100 blog posts! I wasn’t consistent in the beginning, or I would have had more.

I racked my brain to figure out what to write about for this very special milestone, and I thought maybe you might be interested in an update on me and my business.

First of all, I want to thank some special people in my life that may or may not know how much they inspire me. My siblings are each successful in their own way and inspire me. Childhood friends and teachers that taught me a lot and motivated me. My parents who made mistakes but also did a lot of the right things. A few co-workers and supervisors I had over the years in several jobs. Even my ex taught me a lot about myself. Everyone was in my life for a reason, and I can learn from anyone.

I appreciate all the encouragement and all those who believe in me. It’s taking me a long time because of my self-confidence, but I know I will get there.

Update

  1. I am working on a romantic trilogy about a woman who falls in love on a ranch. It sounds cliché, but this is my baby. I’ve been working hard on it, and showed it to a few editors. I have to decide which one I want to hire to perform a developmental edit. I still have to polish up the work before sending it, but I need to get in an editor’s schedule early because the good ones book several months ahead.
  2. I also have a few other works on the go, including 1) a five-novel series on a romantic adventure in Nunavut, 2) updated life planners, 3) a book about solitude and goal setting, 3) a book of reflections
  3. I have a couple products for sale on my website; I am working on a few more to add to my store. All items with motivational quotes on them, as well as Passionate Quill swag.
  4. I am working on updating my website.
  5. I am revamping my newsletter. If you sign up for my newsletter, you get a free ebook that I wrote, all about living your best life. You will also get exclusive content only available to subscribers.
  6. I am doing a lot of dreaming, goal setting, and working towards living my best life.
  7. I am working on writing blog posts to inspire others to live their best life.
  8. I don’t plan on staying at the day job, but now I’m doing less cashiering and more helping out with merchandising, which is more my style. It’s a role that is a better fit for me. It’s still not my dream.
  9. I am reading a fantastic book called The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. I read all her work and was excited when this came out. I urge you to look up all her books and read them!
  10. No one knows everything I’m doing behind the scenes. It looks like I’m not getting anywhere. That’s how overnight successes happen. You don’t see the personal life of someone, and then suddenly they made it. You don’t see the blood, sweat, and tears. You see what anyone chooses to share with the world.

Goals for 2026

  1. Finish and publish my ranch trilogy.
  2. Add more products to my website.
  3. Get to 1000 subscribers.
  4. Release my solitude book.
  5. Redesign and release my life planner collection.
  6. Make 2,000/month in my business by the end of the year
  7. Help and inspire as many people as I can.
  8. Leave my comfort zone many times.

If I don’t reach at least 75% of these goals, I will shut down Passionate Quill…forever.

Encouragement

I feel like I’m on an upward spiral, and I want to encourage others to change their direction to go up instead of down. Only you can change your life. It doesn’t matter what your circumstances are. It doesn’t matter what other people say, think, or do. Only you know your life. You do what’s right for you. You got this!

How I Hope to Help People

  1. Inspire people with my words.
  2. Help women leaving domestic violence. I want to help them get back on their feet and give them the tools they need to completely turn their lives around, so they don’t end up in the same situation.
  3. Open a therapeutic ranch to help people of all ages live their best life. It will be similar to the one I write about in my ranch trilogy. Of course, this one is quite long-term, but it’s been my dream for a long time.
  4. I hope to inspire others to also do what they can to help people.

And that’s it for my 100th blog post! If you want to follow my journey and learn some life lessons along the way, be sure to subscribe to my newsletter and get my free ebook.
